For Tummers Food Processing Solutions, the 20th edition of INTERPOM was accompanied by many uncertainties. However, as we consider personal customer contact very important, we still decided to join with a smaller team than usual. Just like the rest of the exhibitors, we did not know what to expect beforehand. Eventually the spectators turned out to visit our stand in numbers, so we are full of praise about our participation!
The slogan of INTERPOM this year was ‘Let’s reconnect the potato chain!’ The event in Kortrijk, Belgium attracted 11.768 visitors in three days. During this edition, we exhibited with a completely new stand that totally meets our new corporate branding. With the presentation of our newest developments as well as the new Tummers Support Group, we were very pleased with the interest of the many visitors at our stand.
Tummers Steam Peeler (TSP)
The latest developments at Tummers also include our own steam peeling equipment known as the “Tummers Steam Peeler”. The main components of this industrial peeling machine were specially developed with an eye for an extended lifespan and maintenance intervals, which minimizes downtime and overall maintenance costs. Due to its compact size, the TSP will fit in any new or existing peeling line.
The new Tummers Support Group was present at our stand for the first time. With this department, we aim to provide our customers worldwide with services to enable them to get the maximum return from their equipment, and to support them at every facet possible. The Tummers Support Group provides all the services from commissioning to maintenance and advice on the right spare parts to keep in stock.
'Presence very valuable'
Tummers’ Service and Support Manager Joris Buijtenweg considered the presence of the Tummers Support Group at INTERPOM as very valuable: “Our stand attracted many relevant visitors, including technicians from our customers’ factories. Due to a good interaction with our sales department, we were called in directly in case of questions. As this enabled us to shift quickly and help our customers, I experienced our presence as very successful. Therefore, for upcoming trade shows, I definitely expect the Tummers Support Group to be present!
In 2022, Tummers Food Processing Solutions hopes to be able meet everyone in person again. Since great developments are coming up this year, we look forward to the future with great confidence!
