ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands (9 January 2024) – – IMCD N.V (“IMCD” or “Company”), a global leading distribution partner and formulator of specialty chemicals and ingredients, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Executive Committee, effective 1 January 2024. Fenna van Zanten, IMCD Group Director, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Andreas Igerl, President, IMCD APAC, will enhance the Executive Committee with a broad range of perspectives and expertise.
The new appointments reflect the importance of the two roles in advancing IMCD’s growth strategy. Ms. van Zanten and Mr. Igerl will report to Valerie Diele-Braun, CEO, IMCD Group.
Ms. van Zanten, a Dutch national, holds a master’s degree in law from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. After a career in law, she joined IMCD in 2020 as a legal counsel, focusing on M&A. She was appointed Director of M&A in 2022, a role in which, she has further strengthened and standardised the company’s M&A process and oversees all acquisitions globally.
Mr. Igerl is German and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Applied Science for Economy and Management in Munich. He has been with IMCD since 2019, first as Business Unit Manager of Advanced Materials in Germany, and then as the Managing Director of IMCD China. In 2022, he relocated to Singapore to lead the IMCD APAC region as President.
